Job Description

The Dean will be responsible for the overall functioning of the Academy. He will serve as administrative and academic lead. Responsibilities include: management and administration; budgeting; finance and control; training and curriculum planning and development; marketing.


Responsibilities

  • Implements and supports the goals of NiRA as communicated with respect to NiRA
  • Academy.
  • ● Head of Training
  • ● Work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve the aims/goals of NiRA Academy
  • ● Programme Implementation
  • ● Developing and implementing improvement plans designed to meet the needs of the NiRA
  • Academy
  • ● Build relationships with strategic partners for policy and programmes
  • ● Oversees support for the academy's network infrastructure.
  • ● Networking with and marketing to organizations
  • ● Provides strategic plan and business analysis to ensure that training solutions are aligned
  • with business and organizational goals
  • ● Assist in determining effective integration methods of instructional strategies and the
  • developmental use of authentic assessment methods
  • ● Responsible for revenue generation of the academy
  • ● Formulation and Implementation of strategic action plans upon approval from the GB
  • ● Provide effective leadership to the NiRA Academy employees and establishes an effective
  • means of control and coordination for all operations and activities
  • ● Maintain positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and
  • authorities
  • ● Facilitation of training programmes for NiRA Academy

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience working in a similar role
  • ● First Degree in Business Administration, Education, or related discipline. A postgraduate
  • Degree in related discipline would be an added advantage
  • ● Minimum of 5 years work experience
  • ● Experience managing a training institution or project
  • ● Experience managing technology-mediated blended or hybrid learning
  • ● Demonstrable Experience in developing strategic and business plans
  • ● Strong negotiation skills
  • ● Experience in networking with corporate organizations
  • ● Excellent relationship management skills to relate with CEO of organizations
  • ● Self-motivated with a high sense of responsibility, accountability, and dependability
